My Story

My journey began at 16, during the whirlwind 2016 makeup era when contouring was everything, and Kylie Lip Kits were all the rage. Although I was always creative, I never excelled at traditional art, but makeup became my canvas. I spent countless hours practicing techniques on myself in my bedroom, which soon evolved into doing makeup for my friends on nights out. I stumbled upon a makeup course at Leeds City College, which was a turning point, as I was originally studying journalism. Coming from a working class background, the £600 kit and uniform fee seemed out of reach. But seeing my passion, my parents supported me, and I vividly remember promising them that I would make it work. Fast forward 8 years, and I’ve been self-employed full-time since I was 17. I’ve launched a cosmetic line, collaborated with incredible brands, been hired by one of my favorite companies for a campaign, built a community of nearly 50,000 followers, sold out masterclasses, completed thousands of makeup appointments, started a podcast and achieved financial milestones I never thought possible.
