I'm Katie Forrest, a working makeup artist, educator and content creator known for the looks that stop people scrolling. My work reaches millions of views, gets thousands of likes and puts me in front of some incredible beauty brands. But what matters most when you train with me isn't just what I've achieved. It's what I can help YOU achieve.

No copy and paste training, no making everyone learn the same looks, and absolutely no limits. Every course is built around your experience, your goals and the kind of artist you want to become. Whether you're starting with absolutely no experience, dreaming of becoming a bridal MUA or wanting to push into editorial and creative makeup, we'll focus on developing your skills in a way that actually makes sense for you.

My studio is a relaxed, supportive space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, experiment and figure things out without feeling judged. I'm a patient teacher, and I've helped complete beginners grow into working makeup artists. You don't need to arrive confident, experienced or knowing exactly what you're doing. That's what you're here to learn.

And because being a successful MUA takes more than being good with a makeup brush, we'll look beyond the makeup itself. From developing your own style and creating content that gets people talking to understanding the business side of the industry, I want you to leave with more than just a few new techniques.

I'm not here to teach you to do makeup exactly like me. I'm here to help you become the artist YOU want to be (but if you want to do makeup exactly like me, that's cool too!)

My training spaces are intentionally limited so I can give every student the individual attention they deserve. If you're ready to take your artistry seriously, build your confidence and start working towards something bigger, you're in the right place.

1 DAY COURSE

Spend a day in my Leeds studio learning directly from me, Katie Forrest MUA, and get a proper insight into how I work. We'll create two looks tailored to your goals, whether you're refining your technique, exploring a new style or figuring out your next move as an artist. You'll also get a personalised 1:1 coaching session focused on your experience, goals and what's holding you back, including how to create makeup content with the potential to reach thousands. Expect a relaxed, no pressure day where you can ask anything, try new things and learn at your own pace. Models and my kit are provided throughout. Only 4 spaces available each month. This course is not accredited.

4 WEEK COURSE

Four weeks to work on your artistry, find your style and start building the makeup career you've been dreaming of. Train directly with me at my Leeds studio, where every course is tailored to YOU. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to level up in bridal, editorial, soft glam, creative makeup or anything in between, we'll focus on the skills and looks that will actually move you forward. You'll create 8 looks, learn in a relaxed, supportive environment and get personalised guidance on the business side of being a makeup artist, from developing your portfolio to creating content that gets noticed. I bring my own experience as a working artist, beauty brand collaborator and creator of regularly viral makeup looks into every session, so you're learning more than just how to do makeup. Between sessions, you'll have practical tasks to build on what you've learnt and help turn your progress into something real. I've helped complete beginners grow into working MUAs, and you don't need to arrive knowing everything. You just need to be ready to learn. Models and my kit are provided throughout, and your training is accredited by The Beauty Guild.

I only take on 2 students per month for this course, so every student gets the time, attention and individual support they deserve.
